Look and feel
Without the typical brackets on the left and right for installation in a network or server rack, such devices always look a bit strange, but we’ll get to that in a moment. Usually, you will only see the front, so we’ve made a little effort with the look.
The rest was simply left in its metal look and not painted again.

Apart from the power button on the far right, there are only various LEDs on the front that indicate the activity of the 3.5″ slots, the two internal M.2 ports and the status. Specifically, these are for a LAN connection, expansion device and the last one for warnings from the operating system.

The rear is more exciting, from left to right we have a reset button, two 2.5 Gigabit RJ45 ports, 10 Gigabit SFP ports, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0. If someone is fiddling around in your rack, I think it’s already too late anyway, but the NAS can also be secured with a Kensington lock.

The four drive sleds are not tool-free, so built-in 3.5″ or 2.5″ data carriers must be fixed from below using the screws supplied. Other manufacturers do this better.
