Benchmarks
Below I have tried out the different modes with two WD Red 4TB HDDs and a Kingston A2000 NVMe SSD.

I started with normal mode, in which all disks are simply passed transparently to the operating system.

This is followed by JBOD (Just-A-Bunch-of-Disks) mode, in which the hard disks are simply presented together and written to one after the other. It offers no redundancy in the event of a failure.

As expected, RAID0 doubles the speed of reading and writing, as the data is processed simultaneously on both HDDs. However, if one hard disk fails, all data is lost.

And finally, the recommended RAID1 mode, in which the data is stored redundantly on both hard disks. However, this security also costs half of the maximum capacity.

The bottleneck in the response of the built-in SSD lies in the 10Gbps connection from the mini PC, but I don’t think you can complain at all at these speeds.

And the data on the external SSD, which I connected to the USB port on the front of the MiniTower, can also be accessed at high speed.
