This keyboard is impressively quiet and excellently balanced. Even when typing hard, the sound remains pleasantly restrained and even, without any annoying background noise or metallic resonance. It is very reminiscent of the be quiet Dark Magic in terms of background noise – and at a much more attractive price. I am honestly thrilled with how quietly and smoothly it works. Now the Ultima

I also really like this keyboard. It is pleasantly quiet without being muffled – every keystroke remains clearly audible and has a soft, almost “creamy” sound character. The typing feel is smooth and even, which creates a very pleasant experience both when typing and playing. Overall, it leaves a high-quality and acoustically balanced impression.

Absolutely fine. With an average latency of 12.3 ms, the keyboard responds quickly and reliably. This means that it is not only ideal for working or writing, but can also be used for gaming without any problems. The response times are stable, and in combination with the quiet, precise key characteristics, the result is a well-rounded overall package that offers both comfort and performance.

Ultima MAG

I was really surprised here. With an average response time of just 6.1 ms, the keyboard delivers an absolute top value. You rarely see such fast input recognition, even on high-end models. The response is practically instantaneous, which is a real advantage, especially in gaming. This makes this board clearly one of the fastest I have tested so far, impressively precise and lightning fast.

The bottom line

Both Hator keyboards, the Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K Wireless and the Skyfall Pro Wireless, leave a very positive overall impression. They combine sophisticated technology with clean workmanship and a modern, functional design that blends in well on any desk. Despite the plastic housing, both models have a high-quality, stable and solid construction.

With an average latency of just 6.1 milliseconds, it is one of the most responsive boards in its class. Both boards get a clear buy recommendation from me, not only because of their features, but also because they have hardly any competition in this price range in my opinion. For this price, you not only get a practical multifunctional knob and an additional keycap set, but also an integrated display, an overall package that is truly exceptional in this price range.
