Introduction and unboxing
Today I would like to introduce you to two particularly beautiful keyboards from a brand that is still young: Lofree. These are the same model, which we received in two different colors and with two different switches. The Lofree Flow 2 100 is a mechanical keyboard aimed at users who value ergonomic working, a pleasant typing experience and a modern design. Both versions are made entirely of metal and are characterized by high-quality workmanship and precise typing.
Made from a single block of aluminum, the Lofree Flow 2 combines industrial design with flowing functionality. Every edge is precisely CNC-milled, every surface is finely textured and provides a typing experience that is as smooth as it feels. With its low-profile Cloud Series switches, seamless connectivity and responsive touch bar, the Flow 2 offers an exceptionally smooth experience in design and performance

The packaging looks simple, but at the same time elegant and high-quality. The design deliberately avoids unnecessary embellishments and instead focuses on clear lines and a calm, modern look. The sturdy box is kept discreetly matt and only contains the most necessary information, which leaves a classy first impression. Opening the box reveals a carefully structured interior in which the keyboard is securely embedded. The overall impression is tidy and well thought-out, keeping the focus entirely on the product itself.
The backs of both Lofree Flow 2 packaging have a very tidy and functional design that differs only in terms of color. One version is in matt black, the other in plain white. Both have a high-quality appearance and follow a uniform layout that presents technical information and product details in a clearly structured manner.
The Lofree logo is at the top left, followed by the model designation “Flow 2 – 100 Triple Mode Low-Profile Mechanical Keyboard”. Below this, technical data such as material, connection types, dimensions, weight and battery capacity are listed. The aluminum alloy housing material and triple-mode connectivity with Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz dongle and USB-C are highlighted in particular.
Various certifications, QR codes and serial numbers can be seen on the right-hand side, including a reference to the respective color variant: “Snow Blue Pulse” on the black packaging and “Silver Surfer” on the white packaging. Both packs are provided with a protective seal, which indicates careful and secure packaging. Overall, the backs give a professional, technically clear impression that underlines the high-quality workmanship of the product.
The keyboards are carefully and securely packaged. Both boards fit perfectly in the box and are also wrapped in a protective film. This not only provides protection during transportation, but also gives the first impression a particularly elegant and high-quality look. Everything looks well thought out, neatly arranged and conveys a feeling of quality as soon as it is unpacked.
The included accessories can be found under a discreet cover. These include additional keycaps, a USB dongle and a sleeved USB-C to USB-A cable. As the keyboard connection is positioned on the side, the USB-C plug of the cable is angled. This ensures neat cable routing and prevents unnecessary tension on the connection. Everything is neatly arranged and complements the high-quality overall impression of the packaging.
The Lofree Flow 2 100 has a flat, modern design and a precisely milled aluminum housing. The black low-profile keycaps sit flush on the surface and emphasize the minimalist look.
Four large rubber feet on the underside ensure a secure stand, while fine engravings with the model name and technical specifications round off the overall look. Everything looks stable, well thought out and finished to a high standard down to the last detail.
The fold-out stands are neatly integrated and blend harmoniously into the design. Particularly interesting is the position of the Tri-Mode switch, which, as can be seen in the picture, is cleverly concealed under one of the supports. This solution not only saves space, but is also visually elegant. I find this arrangement very well thought out and have never seen it in this form on any other keyboard.
The white version of the Lofree Flow 2 100 also makes a very elegant impression. The light aluminum housing has a finely brushed finish and, in combination with the white keycaps, radiates a simple but very elegant aesthetic. The clear lines and compact layout underline the minimalist design, which is an excellent match for modern working environments.
The underside has the same precise finish as the dark version. The surface is flawlessly finished, the rubber feet are neatly integrated and the lettering is discreetly applied. Overall, this version has a particularly bright, modern and high-quality appearance, making it a real visual highlight on the desk.
Both boards also look really good with the lighting switched on. The fonts are clear and easy to read.
