Pixel response times vs. overshoot @ 60 Hz refresh rate
As I have already mentioned, the EV3450XC is not a gaming monitor and this is now underlined once again. The pixel response times are not really the big issue, because they are not a problem in the Overdrive standard, but take a look at the whole thing first.

Interim conclusion
Whether you ultimately use Overdrive off or Standard doesn’t make any difference. It doesn’t matter for a pure office monitor. The display lag is the highest I have ever measured on a monitor, that much is certain. A comparable content creator monitor or 60 Hz monitor has a display lag of less than 10 ms, so you can play games quite well. I generally advise against using the EV3450XC, as you really don’t want this high display lag.
With EIZO monitors in general, you have to remember that they are not made for gaming. Anyone who has understood this will also understand that these EIZO monitors should only be used for their intended purpose. In the case of the EV3450XC, it is office work combined with functionality and color fidelity. And let’s take a closer look at the color fidelity.
