Color-Performance, Brightness Comparison and Power Consumption
The PA27JCV is also impressive in terms of minimum and maximum brightness. The range is truly amazing – from 21 to 560 nits – this monitor can adapt perfectly to any time of day or night. As the PA27JCV runs without sRGB color space limitation in the factory setting, it only lands in the midfield in the direct color accuracy comparison and is almost at the bottom in terms of saturation. Although the gray scaling is very good, this alone is not enough for good sRGB values. If you want sRGB, you have to set either sRGB or Rec.709 with gamma 2.2 in the OSD.

There is good news for all those who need the monitor for work:
The power consumption is manageable, which was to be expected from my point of view. This is because the PA27JCV uses conventional LCD technology with Edge-Lit Local Dimming. That should be enough on the subject of power consumption. Next page please…
