The company ViewSonic is probably well known to some, especially for its gaming monitors. ViewSonic is now planning to expand its portfolio and wants to launch a new gaming monitor on the market that is specially designed for users who attach great importance to a high refresh rate. Shaurya Tomer from Gadget360 wrote about this.

A 4K OLED monitor with an impressive refresh rate of up to 520 Hz is planned. The model is therefore aimed specifically at enthusiasts looking for maximum performance in image display. However, the 520 Hz are theoretical peak values that are unlikely to be achieved in real-life operation. The technical package is complemented by a response time of 1 ms and support for AMD’s FreeSync technology. Both technologies should make it possible to reduce motion blur and screen tearing during intense gaming scenes. This should be easy on the eyes.
Further details about this product are not yet known. For example, there is no information on the screen size, but there is speculation that the monitor could have a WQHD resolution with a diagonal of 27 inches. Information on the price or release date is also still pending and has not yet been announced. However, it can be assumed that the price will be in the upper segment and will be slightly higher. More details could be revealed at CES 2025. CES 2025, or the Consumer Electronics Show, is a major trade fair that takes place in the USA, more precisely in Las Vegas. This is where companies or start-ups present their latest innovations or plans to show customers. The next CES is not that far away and will begin in a few weeks’ time. In addition to ViewSonic’s announcement of the new 520 Hz monitor, other monitors will probably also be presented that might be of interest to some customers.
