Average noise development
The average noise development of the power supply unit is extremely low with the default settings. The iCUE application can be used to customize the fan profile when the power supply is connected to the system.
Fan noise and speed measurements @ 28-32 °C – 115 Volt
The passive operation of the fan only lasts a very short time, which is due to the way the load is applied: First the combined load on the secondary rails is increased, then the load on the 12 V rail. Nevertheless, the noise level of the fan remains below 10 dBA up to a 12 V load of 515 W. The 25 dBA mark is exceeded at 750 W, while the fan only reaches over 30 dBA for a very short time. Overall, the fan speed profile is designed to be very restrained.

Fan noise and speed measurements @ 28-32 °C – 230 V
At 230 V, the fan speed profile corresponds exactly to that at 115 V.
