With the new ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, ASUS is positioning itself clearly: this card is not a shiny status symbol for RGB fetishists or benchmark record hunters, but a sober tool for demanding gamers and creative users. The GPU is based on Nvidia’s latest Blackwell architecture and delivers what is required in today’s mid-range to upper mid-range segment: solid performance, modern features and, above all, a sensibly sized memory package. The 16 GB GDDR7 is more than just marketing, it is a response to the constantly growing demands of modern games and productive applications. So it doesn’t always have to be high-end and particularly colorful. Then something like this is also worth a news item.

Technically, ASUS has opted for a more efficient design: 4608 CUDA cores, modern ray tracing and tensor cores, an AI performance of almost 760 TOPS, all in a format that deliberately avoids exaggerated dimensions or unnecessary RGB gimmicks. The design is functional, with two axial fans, semi-passive 0dB technology and a 2.5-slot format that also fits into normal cases. The card is therefore intended for gamers who prefer to buy performance rather than prestige.
The power consumption also remains within reasonable limits: With a TDP of around 180 watts and a classic dual 8-pin connector, ASUS shows that performance does not necessarily have to go hand in hand with fan noise or changing power supply units. In terms of display technology, all modern options for multi-monitor or high-refresh setups are available with HDMI 2.1b and three DisplayPort 2.1b ports. The card really comes into its own in 1440p gaming; with DLSS 4 including frame generation activated, even ray tracing is suitable for everyday use, while the large memory buffer doesn’t even slow down with texture mods and graphics DLCs. In creative workflows, such as video editing or 3D rendering, the VRAM also has a positive effect.

Conclusion: The ASUS Dual RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB is not a card that you buy because of spectacular looks or speculative promises – but because it convinces in the here and now. For 1440p gamers and professional users with a limited budget but clear requirements, it is currently one of the most sensible investments. It is neither cheap nor ostentatious – but simply well thought out. And sometimes that is its real strength.
