With the two new models Skyfall Pro Wireless and Skyfall 80 MAG Ultima 8K Wireless, Hator is launching two high-quality gaming keyboards that take design, technology and functionality to a new level. Both models combine an elegant appearance with modern technology and are aimed at users who expect maximum precision and comfort, whether for gaming or everyday work. They offer tri-mode connectivity, high-quality materials and a flawless finish. While the Skyfall Pro Wireless focuses on comfort, versatility and understated elegance, the Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K Wireless is clearly aimed at performance-oriented users looking for maximum speed and control.
The Hator Skyfall 80 Pro Wireless is a versatile premium keyboard available in three sizes, 65, 80 and 100 percent. It offers a choice of connection via 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth or USB-C and relies on the in-house Hator Aurum Vanila Silent Switches, which impress with their smooth operation and precise feedback. Their gasket-mount design with multi-layered sound insulation ensures a smooth typing experience and quiet operation. An integrated TFT display shows system information or custom animations, while the hot-swap function, double-injected PBT keycaps and side-lit RGB zones round off the overall picture. A rotary control for media control and an extended battery capacity also make the keyboard particularly suitable for everyday use.
The Hator Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K Wireless is aimed at ambitious users who value speed and customizability. It is available in 65 and 80 percent sizes and uses magnetic Hator Aurum Ice switches, whose actuation point can be individually adjusted. This allows buttons to perform different actions depending on the depth of pressure and be triggered again immediately. The scanning rate of up to 8000 Hz – in both wired and wireless operation – guarantees a lightning-fast response time. A gasket-mount construction with multi-layer damping is also used here, supplemented by a TFT display, a control button for media and lighting and fully customizable RGB light with side zones.
Introduction and unboxing
The Skyfall 80 MAG Ultima 8K is equipped with magnetic Hator Aurum switches and supports a sampling rate of up to 8000 Hz. The most important features are shown on the right-hand side of the packaging: PBT keycaps, gasket-mount construction, Bluetooth 5.3, 2.4 GHz and USB-C connectivity, and RGB lighting.
The Skyfall 80 Pro looks almost identical, but uses conventional mechanical Hator Aurum switches and offers hot-swap support for 3- and 5-pin switches. Features such as PBT keycaps, quiet damping, gasket-mount construction and tri-mode connectivity are also listed here.
As the packaging is simple and functional and fulfills its purpose perfectly, I will save the back pictures in this case. Instead, I’ll go straight to the keyboards themselves, which are much more interesting and show their strengths better in direct comparison.
On the top, the compact 80 percent layout presents itself in a high-contrast black and white design. The rotary control at the top right is used for volume and media control, while the evenly arranged buttons leave a tidy and high-quality overall impression. The board has a robust, modern look and is clearly designed for functionality and convenience.

The top features the same clear 80 percent layout as the MAG Ultima, also in a high-contrast black and white design. The rotary control at the top right is used for volume control and media control. The appearance is simple, functional and high-quality, with evenly positioned keys and a robust frame that immediately gives the impression of a well-tuned gaming keyboard suitable for everyday use.

The Hator Skyfall 80 Pro features a dark, finely textured housing on the underside with the embossed Hator lettering and four rubberized support points for a secure hold. Two fold-out stands allow for an adjustable tilt, and the nameplate with model designation is positioned centrally. Everything looks sturdy, neatly finished and well thought out.
Both keyboards come with a USB-C to USB-A cable, which feels high-quality and makes a stable impression. A USB dongle is of course also included. There is also a complete, multilingual keycap set in each package, which covers different layouts. This is a well thought-out detail, as it allows users from different regions to use the right key layout directly without having to buy additional sets.
The Ultima also comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter.

I like both keyboards straight away. They have a high-quality finish, are stable on the desk and convey a coherent overall picture from the very first impression. Nevertheless, there are a few differences between the two models that clearly set them apart. The Skyfall 80 Pro relies on classic mechanical switches with hot-swap support, while the Skyfall MAG Ultima 8K pursues a more modern concept with its magnetic switches, which are designed for precision and customizability. There are also slight differences in terms of technology and sound, which ensure that both models have their own character and make them all the more interesting.
